Children of Different Ages in One Session
Photographing a family with a newborn, a toddler and a teenager in the same session is a matter of sequencing. The newborn is photographed with parents while asleep or calm; the toddler gets the most active setups early; the teenager is treated like an adult and given real portraits rather than an afterthought. Group frames come when everyone is still fresh, and individual portraits fill the rest.
Wardrobe follows the usual rule: coordinated colors, not matching outfits, and nothing with large logos or busy prints. Soft neutrals, earth tones and one or two accent colors photograph well in the studio and outdoors. Comfortable clothing for children is non-negotiable; discomfort shows in every frame.
After the session, every selected image is edited by hand. Retouching is natural and does not alter anyone's appearance. Ask about prints, albums and wall art; family portraits are made to be displayed, not left on a phone.
